Air Quality Monitoring Project
We are a successful two form entry primary school in Brixton. We have a Nursery which offers full time* and part time places. Our Children's Centre offers support to families, as well as pre-school education to some two-year olds. We have a thriving After-School Club and Breakfast Club. We run holiday schemes during most of the school holidays and offer many after-school activities. We are also part of the Loughborough Federation of Schools and the Brixton Learning collaborative, both local groups of schools .
We see our work as a moral mission to achieve social justice for our pupils. They have the same talents and potential as other children but many face multiple barriers out of school and start school with low starting points.
Our leaders, teachers, support staff and governors are united in refusing to let this limit our ambition for them or their right to academic achievement.
The great majority of our children make good progress in school and in 2016 the school was in the top 25% nationally.
We make a measurable difference to our children's lives. They leave us with a rounded education, well prepared for the demands of life in the 21st century and better placed to compete more equally with their more advantaged peers.
We have an open door policy so whether you are a prospective or existing parent - please feel free to come in and find out more about us.
*Due to recent changes to government funding of full time Nursery places, the number of places we offer varies from term to term. If you think you are eligible for a full time place please let school know and we will advise you as to availability.
